Emi Uveges

About Emi

  • Registered Massage Therapist
  • Certified in First Aid and CPR

As a child, Emi was always engaged in sports and outdoor activities in the lower mainland of BC. From a young age, she knew that she was destined to pursue a career that would promote health and wellness. She has studied kinesiology, taught yoga, and considered becoming a dietitian before enrolling at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy. After graduating in the spring of 2018, she enthusiastically made Kamloops her home so she could start her career and enjoy an outdoorsy lifestyle.

Emi uses techniques including, but not limited to, Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, myofascial, and sport massage. Her patients appreciate her positive energy and eagerness to communicate. She feels that engaging with her patients on a personal level is a tool to help her piece together the puzzle of individual wellness.

She is passionate for knowledge and plans to thoroughly study human anatomy, and would like to eventually go back to school and complete her degree in Human Kinetics. She has taken an interest to pre-natal massage and wishes to further her education in this area.

Emi enjoys activities that keep her moving and is game for just about anything. Her pastimes include adventuring with dogs, running, circuit training, skiing and snowshoeing in the winter and just about anything on a lake in the summer. In her downtime she likes to read and write and hopes to one day write a book.
