Kristina Adams moved to Kamloops when she was 14 from the lower mainland. She always had a love for the mountains, skiing, and being outdoors. She graduated high school early and moved to Sun Peaks to pursue her passion in competitive snowboarding.

Kristinas interest in alternative healthcare began at a young age when she experienced various health issues that western medicine just didn't seem to have the answers to. From chronic fatigue, digestive issues, and injuries, alternative healthcare seemed to be able to resolve any issues she was dealt with.

She pursued her studies in acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine after acupuncture was the only method of pain relief for a spinal injury she sustained while training for snowboard competitions. She was later diagnosed with ulcerative colitis which she successfully treated through the use of Chinese herbal medicine, acupuncture treatments, dietary cleansing, and intermittent fasting.

Kristina graduated from Pacific Rim College in April 2017 and became a Registered Acupuncturist with the CTCMA of British Columbia shortly after. Her primary focal point is to use what she's learned from her studies in acupuncture, shiatsu massage, and orthopedic acupuncture for the treatment and dissolution of pain, whether it be physical, digestive, or emotional pain. She utilizes her extensive personal knowledge and experience of being diagnosed with ulcerative colitis for the treatment of digestive ailments. Her top priority is to ensure you leave the clinic pain-free, in good spirits, and with a restored sense of hope.
