Registered Physical Therapist
Certified in Standard First Aid & CPR-C
Originally from Nelson, B.C., Mitchell lived in Vancouver during the completion of both a Bachelor of Kinesiology and a Master of Physical Therapy degree. He moved to Prince George to work in both public and private practice, diversifying his skill set, from respiratory care and safe mobilization to exercise prescription and management of sport or work related injuries. He moved to Kamloops in the summer of 2018 to join Kinetic Energy Healthcare & Wellness Centre and explore all the great activities that the area has to offer.
He continues to broaden his scope of practice through continuing education and has been specially trained to treat concussions and vertigo. Mitchell has also been trained in Gunn IMS (intramuscular stimulation) and enjoys incorporating
manual therapy techniques into his practice, such as tissue distraction release (i.e. cupping), soft tissue release and therapeutic taping.
When not at the clinic, Mitchell enjoys supporting local sports teams, seasonal adventures, or participating in recreation such as swimming, soccer, cycling and volleyball. He is also an avid gym-goer and an advocate for strength training as an ideal way to rehab and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
