Norbert originates from the beautiful subtropical city of Brisbane, Australia. He graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 1996. Since then he has primarily practiced in the Lower Mainland as a Owner/Operator and as part of a Multidisciplinary Therapist team in Port Moody. Norbert moved to scenic Kamloops in 2018 to semi-retire but has enjoyed staying in practice as a Locum RMT and now as part of the Kinetic Energy Healthcare Wellness Team.
Norbert takes a holistic view to treatment and strives to look beyond the symptoms and find the root causes of the patient’s condition. He uses a Treatment Plan oriented approach together with remedial exercise program as an essential component to patient rehabilitation. His treatment modalities are primarily systemic deep tissue, myofascial release, trigger point and muscle energy techniques. Norbert is also certified in the use of Instrument Assisted Tissue Manipulation.
Norbert’s athletic background and his long career as a massage therapist has allowed him successes in treating patient dysfunctions such as sport injuries, motor vehicle and occupational soft tissue injuries, posture and headache related conditions.
Outside work Norbert is an avid cyclist, skier, competitive swimmer, boater and fisherman. He also enjoys overseas travel and spending quality time with his family.
