Darlene is very excited to be a part of the team at Kinetic Energy. She has had the great fortune to grew up in beautiful Kamloops and it is where she has spent most of her life. She has also lived in France, Vancouver, Mexico and Clearwater.

 

Throughout her childhood and now into adulthood, she has had a deep love of outdoor pursuits, movement, music and photography. She has pursued many sports and particularly loves skiing in its many forms, freestyle whitewater kayaking (she’s been lucky to compete both nationally and internationally at the Worlds), trail running & hiking, mountain biking, and paddle boarding. She also has a deep love of the Arts. She loves dance and has recently been working on her photography portfolio. She is also a singer-songwriter multi-instrumentalist currently working on completing her upbeat debut album. Darlene is also a Yoga Instructor and has taken many yoga instructor courses and workshops. She feels very passionately about living a positive healthy life and sharing that zest for life with others.

Darlene is very devoted to  the study of health and healing. Graduating from West Coast College of Massage Therapy as well as studying at: TRU, Reims France, University of Guadalajara(PV campus) Mexico, SFU online etc. She feels extremely fortunate that she has had the opportunity to study with many great teachers, most notably her incredible teacher Natale Rao RMT. For years attending his post graduate courses and trying to gain knowledge and techniques from his wealth of knowledge.

Darlene focuses on patient centred care. Employing a myriad of modalities in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. She believes we have the innate ability to heal and she looks forward to sharing her knowledge and skills with new and present patients alike.
