Tyler grew up in Vancouver and graduated from the Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology. He worked as a Kinesiologist and personal trainer in Vancouver before moving to Halifax to undertake his Masters of Physiotherapy degree. After three years of

practice, he decided to return to university to get his Masters of Clinical Science degree in Manipulative Physical Therapy. This gave him the credentials to be a Fellow of the Canadian Association of Manipulative Physical Therapists and practice both spinal and peripheral joint manipulation.

Throughout University and after graduation, Tyler has expanded his knowledge by taking post graduate courses in: movement disorders, core training, manual therapy, Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization and Functional Movement Screens. He holds a certificate in Anatomical Acupuncture from the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute, and has completed level one and two of Functional Dry Needling.

He believes in diagnosing and resolving movement dysfunctions which cause pathological tissue loading and injury. Along with acupuncture and trigger point dry needling, he uses manual therapy, soft tissue techniques, and corrective exercise to restore efficient movement.

In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his sons, playing rugby, basketball, and experiencing the outdoors. He is continually experimenting with different forms of exercise, and applies them to his rehabilitation programs. He looks forward to helping you to achieve your rehabilitation, health and performance goals.
