Dr. Silvey Mills was born and raised in the Kamloops area. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of British Columbia, then attended the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto, where she graduated with academic and clinic honours in 2015. Dr. Mills then immediately fled the big city to return home to BC, where she can appreciate the beautiful scenery and fresh clean air.

Dr. Mills is trained to treat a wide array of neuro-musculoskeletal issues, including neck and back pain, headaches, repetitive strain injuries, acute injuries, and even issues involving the arms and legs. She uses an evidence-based approach to do a thorough assessment and develop an individualized treatment plan, working with each patient to reduce painful symptoms and increase/maintain proper function. Dr. Mills uses a variety of techniques, including spinal/extremity manipulations (aka adjustments), manual soft tissue therapy, modalities, and rehabilitative exercises, as well as advice on how to maintain a healthy lifestyle to minimize disruptions due to pain.

When she isn’t busy working, Dr. Mills can usually be found reading, knitting, or enjoying the outdoors (especially in her kayak).
